        Studying the bone microenvironment may offer new insights into better drugs for fighting prostate cancer metastasis. A group of investigators from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the University of California campuses at Merced and Davis say that a protein "secreted" in bone prevents prostate cancer from metastasizing in bone. The work opens a new avenue in blunting the spread of prostate cancer. Release
